Most couples found themselves rescheduling their weddings in 2020 due to the pandemic. Kristen & Dom rescheduled their wedding after Kristen was diagnosed with leukemia June 2020. With a donation of bone marrow from her brother who was a match, she was able to receive a bone marrow transplant and has since recovered. I asked her to describe her wedding day in three words during our last pre-wedding meeting and her response was "Finally fucking time". And I believe everyone present felt the very same way. Everyone was truly happy to be there and so grateful they were able to celebrate with a couple who went through so much in the past year and half.
