Wedding at Maymont Park in Richmond, Virginia

Gloomy days are a guilty pleasure of mine. The weather alone tells a story. It makes the world feel quiet and intimate. The two things that I love to bring out in my work. It was the perfect weather for this session. Working with Julie and Aaron was such a fun and beautiful experience. No emotions were held back.

It is always an honor to know that my clients feel comfortable around me to express their true emotions.

J & A wanted their wedding photos to be romantic and ethereal. Also a touch of that European aesthetic that makes us all swoon. I knew Maymont Park was the best nearby location in Richmond for that. Maymont Park offers such a variety of landscapes and influence, that I absolutely love.

I played a song that they previously shared with me was their favorite song. I stepped back as they danced, shared a few words and cried together. What we created together felt so pure and genuine to who they are.

Gloomy days are nothing to fear! There is so much beauty in the stillness.
