“My body has endured a fair share of trauma, and I've really struggled to embrace and love it, but his last year I wanted to confront a lot of my damaging beliefs about myself and find a true acceptance of my body's journey. When I stumbled upon Session for the Soul, I was awestruck by the way Rebecca captured women's stories through their bodies, and this seemed like the perfect way to commemorate this journey. Rebecca is truly intentional and considerate--from the very first consultation call to the delivery of the photos. She seeks to learn your story through her thoughtful questionnaire, casual conversations while you're getting ready, and as she shoots, constantly checking in and cheering you on. She respects your boundaries while at the same time encouraging you to lean into the process. I went into this experience trusting that she would take beautiful photos, but I didn't expect to feel so at peace standing their completely naked. I didn't expect to say, with all conviction, "I'm beautiful" when I got the pictures back. I didn't expect that I would be able to see the story of my body told in such an honoring and artistic way. But I did. Rebecca is an artist. She is an insightful soul, and you can trust her to tell your body's unique story with all the respect, creativity, and love that it deserves.”
