My husband and I attended a shibari class last year hosted by @lezandraphoto
It was such a pivotal moment for our relationship. Being surrounded by other couples and individuals who were fun, kind, vulnerable and just like us, washed away all of the taboo feelings I had about the art of shibari.
We loved it so much that we attended a second class. It kicked the door wide open for us. We began shamelessly experimenting and connecting on the deepest level inside and outside of the bedroom.
I’ve found that shibari takes so much trust and vulnerability in order to really relax and enjoy the process. Seeing my partner focused while tying me up as if he was working on a masterpiece is so sensual and attractive.
Learning that my name means something that has been so freeing in my life is pretty fucking cool. At least, for me, I’m choosing to give powerful meaning to it.
