Why A Boudoir Photographer Should Book A Boudoir Session For Themselves
Is it really that important for a boudoir photographer to book a boudoir session for themselves?!
In my opinion.. YESS!
Having a boudoir session for myself helped me :
-understand just how vulnerable this experience can feel
-how posing can be uncomfortable and how important it is to take a water or stretch break when needed
-how confronting it can be to see images of yourself in a way you never have
-how healing a boudoir session can be with the right photographer
The truth is.. a good percentage of my clients are boudoir photographers themselves and I LOVE it!
Being a boudoir photographer takes a great amount of empathy and to TRULY understand the client’s experience, you have to go through the experience yourself.
