This past fall I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a wedding with Beth Caldwell Photography at the enchanting William Gardens in Jeffersonton, Virginia. I had never been to Wollam Gardens before so I was immediately captivated by the land. All of the floral arrangements including hair pieces were made on site using only flowers from the garden. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I look forward to the day I get to return. It was such a sweet, breath of fresh air walking around and seeing all of the vibrant colors.

This past fall I had the amazing opportunity to associate photograph a wedding for Lia Everette Photography at the stunning Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia. It rained the entire morning and afternoon. We did not let that take away our hopes for an outdoor ceremony. Minutes before we were all to get on the shuttles and head to the ceremony site, it stopped raining!! Not only did it stop raining, the sun came out. It came out almost as a sign or reassurance that it was going to be a beautiful event and that it was.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Morais Vineyards in Bealton, Virginia. I must confess, this was my first baraat and while I prepped myself by watching videos, there really is nothing like being in it and experiencing it for yourself. MY GOSH!! The adrenaline, pride, drum, music, dancing, happy faces, WOW! It was an incredible experience that I am so grateful to have been a part of.

This past summer I had the amazing opportunity to associate photograph a wedding for Lia Everette Photography at the stunning Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. The whole entire day was beautiful, even with the rain. A first look took place in a secret garden gasp! Yes, a secret garden!!! It was AHH-mazing and the couple’s excitement and love for each other was swoon material! The rest of the day was filled with so much laughter, drinks, kick-ass dance moves and a huge sparkler exit.
