Read MorePart II to my previous blog post is this set of images with Kale when the sun rose. We kept it minimal again with only a chair as a prop and Kale changed into a pair of jeans, white tank and a vintage jacket I scored at a thrift store last year. I couldn’t be happier with these. The blue sky along with the patches of yellow wildflowers brings me so much cheer.
Read MoreWinter time means more in-home sessions. It’s cold outside but inside it’s nothing but warm and cozy. A lot like the friendship and love Jahara and Ashley share. I got to photograph them in Jahara’s Richmond apartment on a Sunday morning while Ashley was in town from Baltimore. They sang and danced to Beyonce and wrapped up their session in bed snuggling. I don’t know about you but that’s pretty much how I love to spend all of my Sundays!
Read MoreI have to say, this summer has been AHHH-MAZINGGG!! I spent the last week of July in the Catskills Mountains attending a Feminist Photo Vacay. Yep! Sounds amazing? Yeah, it really was! Over the course of a week I met an incredible group of feminist folx, lounged poolside at an EPIC house in the mountains, drank way too much sparkling water and ended our time together capturing magic at Scribner’s Lodge. Scribner’s Lodge is stunning! I would honestly love to go back just to relax. The decor, aesthetic, staff and landscape was phenomenal.
