We kept it minimal again with only a chair as a prop and Kale changed into a pair of jeans, white tank and a vintage jacket I scored at a thrift store last year. I couldn’t be happier with these. The blue sky along with the patches of yellow wildflowers brings me so much cheer.

For Catherann and John it was obvious which place held the most meaning to them. Scuffletown Park is where they said their first “I love you”, had a memorable picnic and where John five months ago proposed. So that’s where we went!
Read MoreQuarantine has been feeling quite lonely lately. I miss photographing people, sharing their stories and being in the presence of others. I was inspired by other photographers to do a virtual photoshoot via FaceTime. These photos aren’t the greatest quality but they served it’s purpose; to bring people, laughter and love to another mundane day of quarantine. I had the pleasure of photographing my sibling, Casey and their partner, Jack. Jack drove cross-country from Washington to Richmond so that Casey wouldn’t have to quarantine alone. Seeing love like this keeps me inspired to keep capturing moments. To see the light during these uncertain times and to keep bringing joy to others through photos.
